Tough question.
It really comes down to whether you believe that there is a “creator”. There is no scientific “proof” that something/someone created the universe etc. One theory is that the universe as we know it began as a result of a big bang. But then where did the molecules/atoms required come from?!
At the end of the day, it’s a personal choice really. I subscribe to the notion that believing gives people hope and a sense of belonging and being a part of something greater. This is a good thing.

You have asked some really great science questions this week!!
This one all comes down to personal beliefs.
I personally believe in evolution, which means that I believe that we evolved from great apes!
But i’m very respectful of other people’s beliefs, and know that different groups believe in different things!
I think like most things in science, that what’s important is that people look at the facts, and then make the decision that feels right to them! It’s much like what we do in the lab each day!
