It’s really easy. You do a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Then a PhD in genetics. If you’re lucky, you get to do the project in genetic modification and you can get your hands on one then. If not, do a post doc working on how to splice genes in. The glow in the dark effect is just a side effect…it’s an easy way to tell that you’ve gotten the gene that you want in there, if it’s attached to a glow in the dark gene!!!
