Question: what happens to your eye if your pupil is damaged?

  1. Yashar is the eye expert, but i think that the pupil is the the black hole in the middle of the eye that lets light in. There are muscles around this, in the iris (the coloured part of the eye) that let in more or less light, depending on how much is required.

if the iris gets damaged, then your eye sight could definitely be affected.

  2. Yep, the pupil is just a name given to the hole that the iris controls. It limits the amount of light that enters the eye.
If your iris is damaged, you’d have problems with focusing and general eyesight.

Why do you ask luke3121?! Do you know anyone that has eye issues?
