I’m a Scientist is like school science lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which scientist gets a prize of $1000 to communicate their work.
Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Organs Zone. It has scientists studying health and disease in various parts of our bodies. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
Good question ninetails9999,
I’m not aware of any procedures anywhere in the world that would change eye colour. On top of this, no surgeon would ever even think about attempting such a procedure, as the possible price (loss of vision) of such a procedure far outweigh the aesthetic gains from having a different eye colour!
So, I’m going to say no. Your eye colour is based on your DNA. This cannot be changed. Surgery would be too dangerous, and most certainly end in vision loss.
Contact lenses are currently available, but should not be worn for long periods of time.
On another note, I’d sooo love to have honey coloured eyes though!!! Shame it’s never to be 🙁
