Hi Patrick!
Nope, it’s not hard to become a forensic scientist, but you would have to go to university. I have a bunch of friends who studies forensic science at university! and you would have to do some science in year 11 and 12.
As for does it pay well…well… i’m not too sure. I’m sure if you did the job for a long time and you were good at it, like most jobs, it would pay well, but i’m not too sure how much a forensic scientist makes!
maybe you could do work experience with a forensic scientist and see if you liked it! they could definitely answer all of your questions!

Not sure Patrick.
If you’re really interested, you should talk with your teacher or career counselor at school. They might now some people you could contact and talk to. Maybe even consider doing a “work experience” at a forensic lab?!
Hope that helps

I know that my friend did a masters in Forensic Science, only to discover that in order to work for the police as a forensic scientist, you have to first work as a beat cop for a couple of years. She wasn’t too keen on that idea…. So do your research on the requirements for your career!
