I’m a Scientist is like school science lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which scientist gets a prize of $1000 to communicate their work.
Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Organs Zone. It has scientists studying health and disease in various parts  of our bodies. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
Have you hear of in vitro meat? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_vitro_meat You need more than just DNA…but it’s entirely possible to make a steak without an animal involved….

DNA is known as the building block on cells. But, by itself, DNA does nothing. You can literally have DNA sitting in water! And it won’t do anything, it’d just sit there (and slowly disintegrate).
Scientists do know how to, and infact do, grow cells. Steak is the muscle of an animal (kangeroo, cow etc). Muscle is mostly made up of a certain type of cells, muscle cells! So like carina said, we can in fact grow “meat” too.
Personally not a fan of the idea and wouldn’t eat it; but hey, it’s possible! 😉
