Question: if i was fully imunised as a child is their any chance that i will suffer at an older age from these injections

  1. It’s very unlikely that you will suffer in old age from your vaccinations.
Generally, vaccinations protect you from bad things from happening.

Also, when you get older, it’s important to get extra immunisations, like the flu immunisation to stop you from getting sick. It can be much harder to fight off these bugs when you are older, and not as strong as you once were!

  2. No. There are some people that believe that they or their children have somehow been adversly affected by being immunised, but there is no proof/evidence. If fact, vaccines against things like whooping cough measles, mumps hepatitis and tetanus have allowed humanity relief from these deadly diseases that have plagued us in the past (wow did that sound epic or what?!)

  3. You are much more likely to suffer at an older age because of NOT being vaccinated. Things like polio and measles really mess with your quality of life.

Perhaps you’re referring to the chicken pox vaccine? There is some debate over whether that vaccine might cause more severe shingles later on….but as far as I know, there’s no proof of that.
