Either the world will be destroyed by giant squid-like aliens in the next few years, or four billion years from now the whole planet will be melted away when the sun runs out of fuel, goes nova and becomes a red giant.

For our sake, I’m hoping very slowly.
I can add meteor crashing into the earth, wiping us all away, and there’s always the possibility that we blow ourselves up!
