Most mice reproduce in about 21 days. Some different species are a bit longer, or a bit shorter, but generally it’s about that long! Rats are the same too!
Some of the mice in the deserts in Africa gave amazing reproduction! It is thought that in some species that 2 females or 2 males can reproduce, but this is very new and exciting research and we are still it sure how the works!
If you had 2 mice in a cage, and you thought they were both girls, but they were actually one girl and one boy, you old have more than 100 mice in 3 months. They reproduce very fast nd very prolifically!
