Question: What is the funnest place that your work has taken you?

  1. Hi Patrick,

I would describe my experience working with differ people in my work as fun, especially some of the students that have come through our lab in the past.

As for traveling, I have been lucky to go to some conferences to present our experimental results in Australia and overseas, most recently the Gold Coast. The conference centre had lizards walking around the gardens which resembled a tropical jungle- I love lizards and skinks so that was fun for me!

  2. Great question, Patrick!

Well, my science has taken me to live in France and America, and now back to Australia! I think one of the best things about science is that you get to travel the world asking about science!

I think the funniest place science has taken me is probably to Las Vegas! We had a meeting there and it was wild! Really a lot of fun and one of the funniest trips I have taken!

  3. Hey Patrick,
Once I got an all expenses paid trip to Adelaide for work.
Not as fancy as others I’m sure, but I’d never been to Adelaide before, so that was cool.
