Question: If you're a neuroscientist, does that mean you use the X-Ray and other electrical equipment?

  1. I haven’t ever used x-ray technology but neuroscientists do use x-rays in very powerful microscopes to see the building blocks of cells. Instead of the x-rays use to take a picture of a broken bone in your arm, scientists use powerful magnetic fields to take pictures of the human brain because these are safer.

I am about to start an experiment where I use very small electrical probes to measure when mouse brain cells are active. There will be a lot of electrical equipment and wires involved in this next experiment!
