Question: How do your eyes work

Keywords: ,

  1. So far so good!

It’s all about physics. Light is 1st diffracted by your cornea, then enters the eye through your pupil, is further diffracted by your lens so that it hits the back of the eye, the retina. There cells termed rods and cones which transfer what you “see” to electrical signals that get sent to the brain by your nerves. Something that’s really interesting is that your eyes “see” everything upside-down. The brain then “processes” what you see and flips it the right way up. The same thing is done in digital cameras. 😀
