I’m a Scientist is like school science lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which scientist gets a prize of $1000 to communicate their work.
Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Organs Zone. It has scientists studying health and disease in various parts  of our bodies. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
Yes. I’m very curious and I get bored easily. I can’t think of any other job that would allow me to have the variety that I need or the ability to satisfy my curiosity every day!

That’s a tough question hollsbarkley.
Whilst there are aspects of it that I like, there are also parts of it that I dislike.
Truth be told there are days when there’s nothing I’d love more than to be paid to do nothing! Having said that, there are days when I just want to do something!! lol
I’m similar to Carina in that I get bored easily.
The thing that keeps you going is the “thirst” for more!

I like being a scientist because it satisfies my curiosity and helps me gain a greater understanding about how my body works, how complex and amazing nature is and make sense of this vast, crazy universe!

I love being a scientist, because the job is varied, and it satisfied my desire to be both creative, and to follow rules. I get to work with a huge range of different people, i get to see things no one has seen before, and you get to travel a lot, and i love to travel!! 🙂

I get to learn about things I’m interested in as part of my work day. I’m often so interested in them that I find myself taking my ideas and work home with me. I am very lucky to be able to spend so much time doing something I’m passionate about. Also, another exciting thing about being a scientist is when you find out the results from an experiment you are the first person in the whole world to know the answer!
