I’m a Scientist is like school science lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which scientist gets a prize of $1000 to communicate their work.
Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Organs Zone. It has scientists studying health and disease in various parts ย of our bodies. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
Sounds very cool, but I’ve never heard anything about it. Perhaps Yashar has?

LOL. This one stumped me too.
But my colleague tells me yes, there are!!! Imagine that!!!!! hahahaha
There are these corrective contact lenses that you can wear overnight, and they somehow work in adjusting/changing the shape of our cornea. It’s a less severe alternative to corrective laser surgery (LASIK). They both do the same thing which is to correct the refractive error with your eyes. What I mean by this is that some people have either too much curve or not enough curve in their cornea (the front of their eye). Wearing these contacts at night or going for LASIK will adjust the curve of the cornea so that light can be correctly refracted (bent) into your eye and you have normal vision.
Supposedly safe, harmless and absolutely less invasive than LASIK, it might be a good alternative if you need to have it. I’d be consulting your doctor and a specialist (ophthalmologist) eye doctor to determine whether it’s for you before say buying it online etc coconuts…
Hope that helps ๐
