Hmmm. I’m not sure. I probably enjoyed my PhD work the most. I had the opportunity to travel all around remote coastal Australia, going fishing and meeting people. And the data came together really nicely into a very neat picture. That’s very satisfying. 🙂 I think I enjoyed an experiment that we did in organic chemistry class when I was in uni. We had to make synthetic smells (esters). People in the class made bubble gum, strawberry, and all sorts of other smells. I made banana and put it on my lab partner’s backpack. I didn’t realize that bees were attracted to esters…. Oops. 🙂
