Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Organs Zone. It has scientists studying health and disease in various parts of our bodies. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
Science comes from the Latin “scientia”, which means knowledge. When I did my degree in the US, I had to take four years of Latin! Australian science students don’t have to learn Latin…but I’m really glad that I did. So much of our English language comes straight from there…it makes it really easy to figure out new words…and can even help with learning other languages, like French and Spanish.
