Question: have you made any major discoveries in your work

Keywords:

  1. When I worked with the WA museum, I found the oldest fossilized muscle tissue in the world (400 million years old or so)! That was pretty exciting. Major discoveries are few and far between…most of science is tiny little steps. I am finding interesting things about vitamin D levels in kids that no one has ever found before…but I don’t know how major it really is!

It’s a really exciting to know that the work we are doing is helping people!

When i lived in America, i met a man who won a noble prize for describing DNA! Now that is a huge discovery!!

  4. My work and the work of people in my lab shows that mice living in stimulating and challenging environments are smarter and protected from diseases later in life. This has very important implications for the way we should design schools, nursing homes, hospitals and even your bedroom!
