I’m a Scientist is like school science lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which scientist gets a prize of $1000 to communicate their work.
Scientists and students talk on this website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote.
This zone is the Organs Zone. It has scientists studying health and disease in various parts  of our bodies. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!
Hmmm….do you mean hydrogen peroxide or benzoyl peroxide? Peroxide by itself is just two oxygen molecules stuck together. Hydrogen peroxide has a (surprise!) hydrogen stuck on it, and is usually used as a bleach or a cleaner….it makes great bubbles! It can irritate your skin, for sure. Benzoyl peroxide is in anti-pimple creams (as an antiseptic). Too much of it can certainly make your skin dry and scabby….you have to be careful to use a lower percentage if it irritates you.

Hydrogen peroxide can definitely burn your skin, and it can also take all the colour out of your hair! 🙂 But at low levels, it’s really good at cleaning and drying out your skin when you hurt yourself.
